Victor Chang is an Associate Professor (Reader) in Information Management and Information Systems of International Business School Suzhou, Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University, China. He's also a Director of PhD Program. He was previously a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing, Creative Technologies at Leeds Beckett University, UK. He’s a Visiting Researcher at the University of Southampton, UK and an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Liverpool, UK. He is an expert on Cloud Computing and Big Data in both academia and industry with extensive experience in related areas since 1998. He completed a PGCert (Higher Education) and PhD (Computer Science) within four years while working full-time. He has over 100 peer-reviewed published papers. He won £20,000 funding in 2001 and £81,000 funding in 2009. He was involved in part of the £6.5 million project in 2004, part of the £5.6 million project in 2006 and part of a £300,000 project in 2013. He won a 2011 European Identity Award in Cloud Migration, since his work is making contributions. He has won 2016 European Identity and Cloud Award on the best project in research, involved with more than 20 collaborators worth more than $10 millions in valuation. He was selected to present his research in the House of Commons in 2011 and won the best paper in 2012 and 2015. He has demonstrated Storage as a Service, Health Informatics as a Service, Financial Software as a Service, Education as a Service, Big Data Processing as a Service, Integration as a Service, Security as a Service, Social Network as a Service, Data Visualization as a Service (Weather Science) and Consulting as Service in Cloud Computing and Big Data services in both of his practitioner and academic experience. His proposed frameworks have been adopted by several organizations. He is the founding chair of international workshops in Emerging Software as a Service and Analytics and Enterprise Security. He is the founding chair of IoTBDS and COMPLEXIS which have become popular in research communities. He is an Editor-in-Chief (EIC) in International Journal of Organizational and Collective Intelligence and a founding EIC in Open Journal of Big Data. He is the Editor of a highly prestigious journal, Future Generation Computer Systems (FGCS). He is a reviewer of numerous well-known journals and had published three books on Cloud Computing which are available on Amazon website. He is a keynote speaker for CLOSER 2015/WEBIST2015/ICTforAgeingWell 2015 and has received positive support. Dr. Victor has given or will give 10 international keynotes since the end of Year 2016. Dr. Víctor Méndez Muñoz has a main background in big data management and distributed systems. He participated in scientific international projects in physics and bioinformatics like AGATA, LHCb, ENRM and EISCAT, collaborating with several more. Currently, he is Head of Software Development at Mind the Byte, a bioinformatics company specializing in computational drug discovery using a pay-per-use SaaS platform (Software as a Service). He also works in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) as a part time professor. Verena Kantere is a Maître d’ Enseignement et de Recherche - Senior Lecturer at the Centre of Informatics (CUI) at the University of Geneva. Before she was a Senior Researcher and the Excellence Grant Holder at CUI, University of Geneva (UniGe) working towards the provision and exchange of data services in cloud environments, focusing on the management of Big Data and performance of Big Data analytics, by developing methods, algorithms and fully fledged systems. Before coming to the UniGe she was a tenure-track junior assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering an Information Technology at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). She has received a Diploma and a Ph.D. from the National Technical University of Athens, (NTUA) and a M.Sc. from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto (UofT), where she also started her PhD studies. After the completion of her PhD studies she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL). During her graduate studies she developed methods, algorithms and fully fledged systems for data exchange and coordination in Peer-to-Peer (P2P) overlays with structured and unstructured data, focusing on the solution of problems of data heterogeneity, query processing and rewriting, multi-dimensionality and management of continuous queries. Schahram Dustdar is Full Professor of Computer Science and head of The Distributed Systems Group at the TU Wien, Austria. From 2004-2010 he was also Honorary Professor of Information Systems at the Department of Computing Science at the University of Groningen (RuG), The Netherlands. From Dec 2016 until Jan 2017 he was a Visiting Professor at the University of Sevilla, Spain and from January until June 2017 he was a Visiting Professor at UC Berkeley, USA. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, ACM Transactions on the Web, and ACM Transactions on Inter et Technology, and on the editorial board of IEEE Internet Computing and IEEE Computer. Mohammed Atiquzzaman (Senior Member, IEEE) obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the University of Manchester (UK) in 1984 and 1987, respectively.  He currently holds the Edith J Kinney Gaylord Presidential professorship in the School of Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma.

He co-chaired the IEEE High Performance Switching and Routing Symposium (2003, 2011), IEEE Globecom and ICC (2014, 2012, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006), IEEE VTC (2013)  and the SPIE Quality of Service over Next Generation Data Networks conferences (2001, 2002, 2003). He was the panels co-chair of INFOCOM’05, and is/has been in the program committee of many conferences such as INFOCOM, Globecom, ICCCN, ICCIT, Local Computer Networks, and serves on the review panels at the National Science Foundation. He is the current Chair of IEEE Communication Society Technical Committee on Communications Switching and Routing.
Dr. Atiquzzaman received IEEE Communication Society's Fred W. Ellersick Prize, and NASA Group Achievement Award for "outstanding work to further NASA Glenn Research Center's effort in the area of Advanced Communications/Air Traffic Management's Fiber Optic Signal Distribution for Aeronautical Communications" project. He is the co-author of the book “Performance of TCP/IP over ATM networks” and has over 270 refereed publications, available at www.cs.ou.edu/~atiq.
His current research interests are in areas of transport protocols, wireless and mobile networks, ad hoc networks, satellite networks, power-aware networking, and optical communications. Chung-Sheng Li is currently the director of the Commercial Systems Department, PI for the IBM Research Cloud Initiatives, and the executive sponsor of the Security 2.0 strategic initiative. He has been with IBM T.J. Watson Research Center since May 1990. His research interests include cloud computing, security and compliance, digital library and multimedia databases, knowledge discovery and data mining, and data center networking. He has authored or coauthored more than 130 journal and conference papers and received the best paper award from IEEE Transactions on Multimedia in 2003. H is both a member of IBM Academy of Technology and a Fellow of the IEEE. Luis Almeida graduated in Electronics and Telecommunications Eng. in 1988 and received a Ph.D. in Electrical Eng. in 1999, both from the University of Aveiro in Portugal. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Porto (UP), Portugal, and a member of the Telecommunications Institute at UP where he coordinates the Networked Systems group. Among several appointments, he was a member of the Executive Committees of the IEEE Technical Committees on Real-Time Systems (2008-2013) and on Factory Automation (2007-2009, si ce 2014), Program and General Chair of the IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium (2011-2012 respectively), Vice-President (2011-2013) and Trustee (2008-2016) of the RoboCup Federation, and Associate Editor of the Springer Journal of Real-Time Systems (since 2010) and Elsevier Journal of Systems Architecture (since 2012).
